Support Scabbard & Blade and Pershing Rifles: Honoring Tradition and Building the Future

Scabbard & Blade and Pershing Rifles have a proud and longstanding tradition of excellence at Missouri State University. Our organizations offer students meaningful opportunities to enhance their college experience through involvement in athletics, intramural sports, student organizations, Greek life, community service, and more. By participating in Scabbard & Blade and Pershing Rifles, students contribute to university athletics, support local veterans, promote scholarship initiatives, and participate in major campus and community events.

We are currently seeking financial support to further our mission by replacing our aging color guard equipment and installing updated signage. After years of dedicated use, much of our gear—including flags, harnesses, and ceremonial rifles—has deteriorated and no longer meets the standards of excellence required for our ceremonial duties. These updates are critical to maintaining the dignity, precision, and professionalism for which our teams are known. Additionally, new signage will increase visibility and awareness of our program on campus and in the broader community.

All contributions will directly support Scabbard & Blade and Pershing Rifles’ efforts to enhance our presence and prepare for competition in Spring 2026.
